This happened both with stellarium installed through Ubuntu Software Center and through terminal.

Every time I open Stellarium it seems to work only for a couple of second (quite normally and smoothly without any lagging) before abruptly closing down without any error messages at all. I'm having a bit of a problem with Stellarium on Ubuntu 16.04.
